At different levels, all my art is an expression of my admiration for God’s Creation and God’s creatures, for the beauty around us, and the beauty within us.

I am an Uruguayan-American contemporary artist based on the Fort Lauderdale, FL area, specializing in oil painting (landscapes, seascapes, portraits, still life). Painting has been a lifelong interest of mine, and besides reading extensively and practicing the plastic arts, I have been fortunate to have study art with elder painters: Mario Sagradini (at the museum, Casa de la Cultura, 1987-1988) and Sergio Orgoroso (at the Escuela Municipal de Artes y Oficios, 1998-2002) both in Uruguay. I had solo and collective art shows in Latin America and the U.S.

But… not everything is painting, there is also living. I am a protestant Minister and pastor of a Lutheran church in South Florida. Besides recently graduating from a doctoral program (Barry University, Miami Shores, FL), I am a husband and father. I have published a few books on Human Relationships and Preaching in Spanish. It all together adds to the meaningful art of living.

Mi arte es, en múltiples formas, una expresión de mi admiración por la creación de Dios y por sus criaturas, por la belleza a nuestro alrededor y la belleza en nuestro interior.

Soy un artista uruguayo nacionalizado norteamericano que vive en el sur de la Florida, EE.UU. Me especializo en pintura al óleo y pinto diversos géneros como paisajes, marinas, retratos y bodegones. La pintura me ha cautivado desde la infancia. Aparte de ser un ávido lector, he tenido la fortuna de estudiar con maestros como Mario Sagradini (Casa de la Cultura, 1987-1988) y Sergio Orgoroso (Escuela Municipal de Artes y Oficios, 1998-2002) en Uruguay. He participado en exposiciones individuales y colectivas en Latinoamérica y los Estados Unidos.

Pero no todo es arte, sino vivir. Soy un ministro protestante y al presente pastoreo una iglesia luterana en el sur de la Florida. He publicado algunos libros sobre relaciones humanas y predicación. Recientemente gradué de un programa doctoral (Universidad de Barry, Miami Shore, FL). Soy esposo y padre. Todo junto resulta en el significativo arte de vivir.
